Robert Brooks, DDS
Dr. Robert Brooks is a native of West Monroe, LA. He earned his B.S. degree from Louisiana Tech and completed LSU School of Dentistry in 1976. He practiced in Ferriday, LA, prior to establishing his practice in Winnsboro in 1980. He was awarded a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) in 1999. Dr. Brooks completed the Brookdale Hospital Maxicourse in Implant Dentistry in 2000, where he learned both the surgical and restorative phases of implant dentistry. This has enabled him to offer these specialized services to his patients.
To achieve MAGD recognition, a dentist must prove knowledge and skill in all disciplines of dentistry. Dr. Brooks has completed more than 3,300 hours of continuing education classes. He also has over 700 hours in orthodontic education and has been offering orthodontic care in his practice since 1983.
Dr. Brooks’ wife Linda is a retired educator. They have one daughter Erin Brooks Forman, FNP, son-in-law Mathew Forman, RN, and two grandchildren Brooks Bishop (3.5 years old) and Charlotte Lucille (20 months). In his spare time, Dr. Brooks likes building and fixing things, property maintenance, hunting and spending time with family.
